The visit of the distillery is open and free every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., except on December 25 and January 1.
The distillery began its activity in rum in 1940 but really took off following the takeover by the "Société d'Exploitation de la Distillerie Bielle" in 1975. This rum par excellence in Marie-Galante. It has a very wide range of Old Rum, Whites etc and recently joined forces with CAPOVILLA to produce an exceptional Rum: the RhumRhum

The Poisson distillery, started in 1822 by Edouard RAMEAUX, pays homage to "Father Labat," missionary priest, sent to the West Indies, who according to legend, would have produced the ancestor of rum! "Père Labat" rums are a world reference in the spirits industry.
