Founded in 1915 by Joseph and Fernand REIMONENQ, the distillery began to market rum in 1965 under the name "Grand Corsaire". Today, the distillery, managed by Léopold REIMONENQ, has 2,000 barrels where their vintages are patiently aged. The distillery has won many medals in recent years in national and international competitions for the quality of its rum.
